If I could’ve give her a 0 I would. I saw her for around 6 months. I felt my consultation went fine. However our follow up visits did not. I would ask questions and tell her how I’m feeling and she would dismiss them or often raise her voice at me. I’ve never once met a doctor who dismisses a patients questions. Especially when it comes to psychiatric medications. She would rush every single visit. I saw doctor Roberta Gordin for the first time this morning because I needed to find a new provider after my insurance switched. Within 3 minutes of my intake she told me she doesn’t think I have adhd (I have been officially diagnosed and received multiple opinions and has negatively affected my life since I can remember), and talked down to me my entire appointment. Would give Zero stars if i could. Did not feel heard or understood. I felt agitation from her when I would ask to be explained the meds and why that was the chosen option. She was 15-20 minutes late each session, and very defensive when i ask why. On top of that she prescribed me meds we did not talk about that were very expensive - i did not accept them and will never see her again. Do not waste your time and money, try someone else.
My provider has been amazing. She listens and helps me achieve my goals. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing to take a first step into better mental health.
Roberta Gordin was great but i thought i was starting therapy today. I guess the scheduler was confused. I feel like it has been hard to find a provider with my insurance in a timely manner. I feel for others who have experienced this and have had dire consequences. Im ok but i worry for others who struggle.
