My husband and I, and our dogs, went to get away for a few days and found so much more than we expected. Tom and Kathy were friendly and very welcoming and did a great job orientating us to the cabin (Turkey Ridge), and then left us to enjoy! The cabin was immaculate and very comfortable. The views amazing, the night skies were spectacular and the silence was golden. Three days was not long enough and we will be back. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven on earth with us.
Perfect secluded get away spot to relax and unwind while enjoying the outdoor life. Great view of the Gasconade river where you can see where 3 different counties intersect at once. Cabin was nice and clean and Kathy was an awesome host!!!
Just Perfect! It was so beautiful, the cabin was immaculate. Kathy was wonderful. Even though the river was up and could not canoe, we had an amazing time. The views are spectacular, the hiking was terrific, and Clifty creek was the perfect little swimming hole.
I will start off that the owners are super nice. We stayed at the Indian Hills Cabin. 3 bedrooms, 2 have AC. Cabin is stocked with everything you need. They even gave you fire wood. The view is amazing. The only real downfall is that I think the back yard could have been mowed and unkept better as the grass and weeds were long. This is where we let our dogs out to go to the restroom and caused one of our dogs to have an allergic reaction and forced us to leave a night early as we had to take him to the vet. Stayed in the Turkey Ridge cabin this time in October. The bluffs were starting to have lots of color. These cabins are the best places to get away from the grind of the city and be able to de-stress. Views are fantastic. Cabin has everything you need as far as cooking. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Hosts are the best, they always make you feel welcome. Even heard the turkeys calling this time. The cabin lived up to its name!
