😭 I wanted to like the place cause it was my first time there. Atmosphere and service great but the food???! The pics on the menu online are pulled from other places of stock images. my spicy tonkotsu was not spicy, and I didn’t get bbq pork belly like the description said at all it was like.. blocks of chicken/pork(?) that didn’t taste like pork and their spicy tuna roll was not spicy and mangled, uneven looking. No one greeted us upon entry, despite a sign saying to wait to be seated we were ultimately told by the bartender to sit wherever. We then sat for a while before a young lady finally walked up to us and took our drink order and then took another long gap before finally taking our order. The amount of enthusiasm within the staff was actually hilarious. 😐 Only to then be served subpar food at unjustified price points. (Even the specialty rolls consist of plain imitation crab sticks😵💫)
Food was great however the place could use sunshades for the sun and it was hotter than I would like it to be while eating miso soup.
It was a nice place, the service was great the setup is really cute i like the concept. The food was good, priced well
We had Melanie as a server, she was very personable and helped us pick out some great rolls! Can't wait to bring the family.
