I ordered online from this restaurant and my hopes were up until i got a call stating they are out of the food i ordered. They sent unseasoned and cold food with no refund for what i already ordered that i didn’t get. I love supporting black owned business but we have to do better.
I’m disappointed… the meal lacked flavor. I think I got what they just had available. I ordered greens, mac & ribs for one meal and then turkey tips and baked beans for the other meal. I did receive a call telling me they didn’t have any turkey tips so I asked what meats and settled with leg qtrs. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! We found Rosako's through Too Good To-Go. It was delicious, so we came back another day to order from the menu. We ordered the stuffed turkey leg and the meat plate with fried okra and collard greens. Everything we had was scrumptious!! We will definitely be back!
Update: Seems like there's no love in the food anymore. Chicken barely had any BBQ sauce and was a bit bland. The chicken and mac and cheese was a bit cold. The cabbage is something I never liked before but not only was it the only thing seemingly fresh/warm it was surprisingly really good. The staff here are very friendly, and the food is delicious. They are apart of the "Too Good To Go" app that I was trying out. "The Coop Pit" was inside the location, purchased a $21 surprise meal for $6.99. It was decent it ended up being 3pc baked chicken, cabbage, and sweet potatoes. I didn't care for the cabbage, but my daughter ate the most of it. Everything else was pretty good if was hot it would've been better. Kinda scary walking into an empty dark building and all you hear is chopping.
