Rose Canyon Animal Hospital has been an integral part of it's community, as well as San Diego for the last 35 years! Our hospital was originally established by Dr. Watson, then passed onto Dr. Michael until his retirement in 2022, and is still veterinarian & family owned as of today! Dr. Nichole Svehla, Rose Canyon's medical director, and brings extensive emergency and specialty experience. Dr. Vanessa Hoard recently joined our team, and is an amazing addition to our diverse and full-service hospital.

Dr. Hoard was amazing and put our big chicken of a dog at ease. The vet tech was amazing at getting Maxillary to cooperate getting a vaccine squirted in his mouth. He did not think this was a good idea. But she did it! The only thing I wish was done differently was that I wish Dr. Hoard had scheduled time to talk to us after her exam. I had some questions I'd been hanging on to for 6 months or so. Obviously not urgent ones. But stilll.
