My community does not offer recycling, so I pay Rumpke annually to pick up my recycling 2 times per month. Each of the last 3 months they've skipped our street for 1 of the pickups. Several of us called in 2-3 times each month to get them to pick up our recycling... they came a week later. The phone staff was very empathetic and said they would address this with supervisors, but it's still happening. I'm not planning on renewing.
It is crazy to me that in 2025, Rumpke is one of the only service companies I pay for that continue to be affordable (no hidden fees, no catches, no fees for larger bins, etc.) while also providing excellent service while being incredibly reliable. I have had numerous heavy bins by the curb with some trash items sitting adjacent to the bins, and they always pick it all up with no issues. Appreciate the services offered at a reasonable price. The ability to contact for answers to questions easy -on line- ,if you need to confirm the item you want can be to pick up. They keep you informed of changes in pickup and a general reminder of what you can and can’t place in the bins.
A great company. Reliable and they pickup just about anything. The first time I visited my daughter here, I took photos of what people left for pickup. I lived in California, at that time where they have strict rules on what you could leave out. Trash only in cans. No bags and cardboard tied up with size limits. Rumpke is great. No complaints.
Generally we appreciate the services provided by the Rumpke team. Your work isn’t easy, but it is essential to the community. It’d be even better if the Rumpke team could help us minimize stray trash and trash cans being left in the middle of streets after dumping. Thank you for your services.
