I have been a loyal customer for approximately 40 years. In Pickaway county, Ross county, Hocking county, and back in Ross county. If it ain't broke, don't fix! Has my pick up been missed? Of course! Not many times though! If I have a lot of trash, which I usually don't, I call Customer Service, and it's picked up the next day, if not the same day. The people at Rumpke are always reliable and helpful. The pickup is very consistent, most of the time it's gone up before 6am on pickup day. the office staff is there and ready to help. When I had a billing issue the staff was immediately able to help resolve it.
Customer service has always been quick to respond to issues, or requests. The driver who usually runs my route is exceptional and goes above and beyond to make sure the area is clean before leaving. Seen him cleaning my driveway from our security cameras. They all receive 5 stars!🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Well they've missed my trash pickup a few times, and yes I had it out at the appropriate time and day...no refund for missed service...all I can say is that I do not get paid for doing nothing. Next is a matter of courtesy and is two part: 1st is that it would be kind if the garbage cans would be left with the handles facing away from the roadway, especially considering that I place them in the opposite fashion as to make it easier and faster for the workers. When we had a dumpster we couldn’t ever rely on them picking it up. It was supposed to be picked up every other week. The majority of the time that wouldn’t happen and in most cases took days for them to get someone to pick it up after my calling and informing them. For that reason we switched to regular weekly can pick up. Service has been much better aside from when our road is snow covered. Main complaint is the continuous increase of price. We have went from around $70 every 3 months to well over $100.
