I have been a customer for many years, Scioto County. The service is second to none. Rumpke is reliable. They keep customers informed of any schedule changes. Are they a little more expensive than other service providers? Yes…..but their reliability and years in business are more than worth it. Free your mind of one concern…..give Rumpke a call. I've been a Rumpke sanitation customer for 24 years. Generally the service, is reliable and efficient. However, I'm disappointed by Rumpke assessing a "fuel surcharge" fee in addition to their rather high trash collection charge. This seems to be a ploy to gain more profit from customers under the guise of increased fuel prices. The young man who drives the Rumpke truck that picks up my trash is Very professional and if I have questions, he answers them in a very professional manner. I’ve never had any problems with him. The only issue I do have is the cost. I am on a fixed income so paying over $200 every month for a Two family dumpster to me is a lot. When you’re almost 80 years old, which I will be this summer I would think that we would get some sort of a discount. Other than that, everything is fine. Thank you for asking about it.
We have not had a problem with Rumpke pick-up. I like that they have provided a trash bin for our trash. It helps keep the critters out! Thanks too for the emails letting us know the schedule around all the holidays.
We are "STUCK", in Pike county, no options but Rumpke, I don't understand how they are allowed to have a monopoly. They do us a decent Job, but the prices are outlandish. We're on our 3rd price hike since 2020.
