I purposely avoided rumpke because they notoriously suck. A month after getting trash service through Big B, I got a letter that rumpke had bought them out and I knew it was a nightmare waiting to happen because I'd previously asked them for a quote and rumpke was unable to even locate me on a map (many neighbors have their service without problems though!) Good experience with the employees. The $66 minimum fee is very high. Price should be based on weight. A person could bring one table and the fee is $66. It really hurts small businesses who use their services.
Went into the front office to purchase a 95-gallon Garbage Bin and they made it super easy. You can buy both new and used, but even the used are in great condition and thoroughly sanitized. Great staff and surprisingly clean offices!
I wanted to pass along a very thoughtful moment with one of your teams (Recycling Truck 84104). Our dogs bark happily and incessantly every Monday when the truck arrives at our driveway, and today one of them had a ball in his mouth that rolled out into the street and under the truck. I happened to be watching and thought “well, that’s gone.” Not the case - the young man driving got out of the truck, managed to kick the ball back into our yard, and then resumed his route.
