ABSOLUTELY WORST CARDBOARD DISPOSING TRASH COMPANY. This morning nicely folded broken down boxes were left after supposedly being dumped by one of their trucks, set down so far from the building that it's blocking the way to the loading dock for the trucks. The same problem has been repeated week after week. I have used Rumpke for a couple of years now and I don’t have anything good to report. Up until recently, this was the only trash company working my area. A few of the problems I’ve experienced: set up on auto pay but it constantly didn’t go through and I’d get a notification that payment wasn’t received. I’d go into my account on the website and on my end it would show up as being set to autopay. I’d have to go in every 3 months to “fix it” and make a payment. It got old. Constantly violating local policies, specifically neighborhood noise ordinances! I’m woken up by their truck outside my window every Monday and Thursday at 6:30 am
We have one of the best pickup guy on our route. We live on Kenbrook Drive in Vandalia. He is a very fast worker and always speaks or waves. Such a good kid. I hope we continue to have such great service. He never leaves anything behind and is very thorough!!
For many years I had no issues with this company, but then we got a new driver. Nothing horrible, but he consistently would put my bin in the street as opposed to on the grass. This became an issue each time we had bad weather and bins would fly down the road. Each time I would call the office and politely ask if he could get it on the grass, and they would assure me he would. Never happened.
