From the start my loan was mistaken for a canceled loan. After fixing this hiccup, my loan was ready to close ten days early but nobody seemed to mind letting it sit. I had to push for an earlier close, which did not happen due to a bad appraisal. Appraiser said no repairs needed but then Ruoff underwriters went in 24hrs before close reviewing the loan and noticed pictures that depict repairs being needed. Terrible loan provider. They cost me thousands and my payment went up 32% without warning! They had two loan officers quit when I was buying my house, and the timeline was impacted so badly from their mismanagement of my loan that I almost lost the house I bid on AND I completely lost out on $5,000+ in Ohio grants. Now 2.5 years after signing on my home, they continue to mess up. Ruoff has messed up my escrow every single year. Del was absolutely incredible to work with. This was my 2nd home purchase, but with a 10 year difference between, I was shocked how much easier this process was compared to my first. Michael Shannon was amazing to work with! He is knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He made sure I understood what was going on with my loan and was very quick to respond to calls, texts and emails. He would answer calls after hours too and would give me calls just to check in. I felt very valued while working with Michael. I ran into complications with an offer I made and he worked really hard to make it work and went out of his way for my benefit. I could not recommend Michael Shannon and ruoff Mortgage more!

My favorite thing about working with her was that she was readily available and willing to answer my questions no matter the time of day.
