No, no, no. Excessive charges. $19 to show me how to clean my dog's ear? All kinds of tests when 1 was sufficient? My first visit was over a grand! Plus, the doctor (Lee) I spoke to couldn't explain things when I asked questions. She didn't even look at my dog's file. I had to point out things to her. Why am I telling her to do her job?? I also asked asked about my dog's teeth, she said it was fine. Then I show her a picture of one of his gray tooth, and she said oh yeah that's bad. Well why give an assessment that it's fin... read more

SCAMMERS! If you're desperate to help your pet these people will take advantage of you and charge or overcharge you for services your pet doesn't need.

UPDATED REVIEW 3/28/2021: My first visit to Sacajawea was wonderful in 2019. I wrote a glowing review after our initial visit in late 2019 (my doggo caught giardia and the doctor was incredibly thorough and informative!) I ADORE the vets there and everyone in the office is very nice. But as they're updating their processes, and as I've now visited them several times, cracks are beginning to appear. 1. The intake form process is a hassle: It feels redundant and inefficient. It's frustrating to complete an intake form onl... read more

My cat had an appointment for vaccines. I have a baby so they offered to let me drop her off. I mentioned to them she had been puking. They proceeded to take her, then call me to tell me that a) they were going to charge for the visit plus a few for drop off (no mention of the fee before) and b) they were not going to do anything beyond the exam. Long story short, a complete waste of my time and money. Had it been mentioned earlier that they would not give her the vaccines, I would have monitored her. I can understand some ... read more

Dr. Mason diagnose my dog with severe anxiety disorder and suggested I take dog to behavioral specialist at charge $400 an hour in Portland Oregon for a virtual service. We decided to put my dog on prescription medication for two weeks but it made the dog health worse when she's only two months old at the time. I notice after I received services on the detail bill I was getting charged for items that was not even discussed with me on the phone prior at the intake or during the phone conversation after the appointment. I was ... read more

Word for word what I wrote to their office when they asked for my feedback via text and email: "Your website offers booking appointments online. We did this as new clients who were recommended by current client of yours. A few days or a week later we got a call saying scheduling errors occurred and we had to call to reschedule a different day, fine. Things happen, I get it. We called and rescheduled for the following week, no big deal. Got to the appointment and found out the visit was with a different vet. No big deal, ag... read more

Hot mess vet, will not properly care for your animals! Scheduled an appointment to bring my cat in who is sick and had originally scheduled for 8 am. Got a call a couple of days before from them asking to change to 11:40 instead and I agreed. Got to the building and called them to let them know I was here (covid times, can't go in the building which is expected), confirmed I was at the right location even though there were signs on the window, the receptionist agreed I was. I had asked "even though there are signs on the win... read more

A while back I took my little doggie to Sacajawea Vet, Dr. Mason saw him and said he had a strain and guessed it was his neck. That night my doggie was in pain and I touched his back gently because he was crying and he threw out a bark that told me he was in pain! He did not sleep that night so the next morning I called in to let them know I did not have the meds I thought I had from the last appointment. The young receptionist said he would have the meds ready the next day!! I said No, he needs them today, my doggie is i... read more

In late May of 2019 I came to get my dog neutered. We had been bringing him here since January and had not had any issues up to this point. When we came to pick our puppy up after his surgery, the workers got him and sent us on our way quickly. On the way home our dog seemed to be in a lot of pain, but we figured this was because of his surgery. When we arrived back home we realized there was a bandage on his leg. My boyfriend wanted to take it off, but decided to call the vet first to make sure that was okay. When he called... read more
