Sacajawea Healthcare for Pets is everything I want from a veterinary clinic. I own a Doberman, an Airedale and a Siamese cat. All three breeds carry the potential for special health interests and I was concerned about finding a vet that would be able to handle all three pets perfectly and I found that vet. Melissa Mason DVM is incredibly knowledgable, thorough and definitely has a way with animals. My pets love her and I trust her implicitly. I know my pets are in good hands when they are seen by her. Wonderful place. It seems like many complaints revolve around cost. I think that people are so used to having personal health care insurance (and paying a small deductible) they are shocked to pay the full cost of professional health care for their pets. I have Paw Plans, and it's well worth it just to have my dogs keep their teeth. IMHO If you can't afford professional health care for you pets, then don't get pets.

My pet has been here seversl times and she's only three. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are very warm and very knowledgeable. They seem to understand what my cat is going through and are prepared for the unexpected-like when my cat pooped in their exam room. Needing an appointment for a repeat customer is a breeze. I've had a kitty emergency andI didn't needto worry about waiting the next day. She was scheduled immediately. We recently moved from Lynnwood to Federal Way, so finding a new vet was on the dreaded list of to-dos. I called to get a quote on a round of shots for my dog. They gave me the price over the phone broken down by costs. We made an appointment to go in later that afternoon. By the time we got there, they had called my existing vet and acquired my dogs medical history and already had it on file. The service we received was excellent. I have been taking my very active lab to Sacajawea for 6 years now. The staff and Doctors always make us feel welcome and comfortable. They are very knowledgable and provide great care to my dog. I highly recommend them to anyone.

No better care anywhere! For nearly 20 years, the staff and doctors at Sacajawea have treated my dogs (and me) with tender loving care and a wealth of knowledge and experience. They have extended the lives of my dogs and, when the time came, helped me through the terribly tough transition of loosing them - always with the utmost compassion. I have been bringing my pets here for over 10 years and they have always gone above and beyond - very caring and patient. I board my dog Bear here sometimes also, and he is always extremely well cared for. I credit them with saving my dog Laika's leg and getting him back to health & mobility when other vets recommended amputation - he lived years longer than expected and was happy & healthy thanks to them. Very grateful.
