It took me far too long to try sage and salt. We've raved about this meal since and I think about that burrata regularly. I have the shrimp pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband loved the different skewers so he had a lot of variety.
Food was delicious, wait staff was amazing! Had the crap dip appetizer & I ate the scallops which were fabulous!
I had a delicious meal here last week! I came for a solo birthday dinner on Friday around 630pm and was able to sit at the bar immediately. The bar looks into the kitchen so you can see all of the activity going on. I took a look at their menu and opted for their smoked old fashioned, bacon wrapped scallops, and the grilled shrimp pasta primavera. Everything was scrumptious. Beautiful unique upscale restaurant nestled in downtown Winston-Salem. Without a reservation since I was solo, I was able to snag a seat at the bar which was extra cool because it was like you're emerged in an episode of Master Chef due to the open kitchen concept. Solid dinner. Awesome vibe on the new live music side. Owner is a gentleman and you can tell he loves this place. Would love to go back next time we are basic in Winston-Salem. Highly recommend.
This place was very good. I loved the skewer appetizer option! We ordered the bacon wrapped scallop skewer which was amazing! But the other one (pork belly?) was not that good. The food was excellent, the salmon fresh, the server delightful. She was friendly, accommodatingand perfectly polite. Very tranquil dining on the outside deck/patio.
Came here over the summer, amazing food and service! Cool little place, our server Ben was the best and was on top of everything! 10/10
We were seated next to a super awesome jazz trio band. They played so well, all of us at the table enjoyed it. There were multiple rooms, so not all had music, for your information. It is a big place. The food was delicious! We had a couple of steaks and a shrimp pasta. Steaks were cooked just as we ordered. But the most charming of all was our waiter who procured us coffee at the last minute before closing. Great time at Sage & Salt Bistro! Hope to see you again!
