All of the above. Went for lunch and had the Portabella "burger" which was awesome. Our server was prompt, attentive, polite, friendly and made good recommendations. While the place is small, it was not noisy even though it was busy. Loved the fact they included hand lotion along with wonderful hand soap in the ladies room. Not many do that. Will definitely be going back! Soon!
This IS the best spot to eat, drink, and have a great time! It is now one of my favorite restaurants in Winston Salem. I had friends California and Georgia come eat here and they are fans as well. All around great atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I will always be at this spot at the bar...
Wow! What a nice surprise! I was in town to visit a friend in the hospital. The Potato Leek soup was so delicious. Perfectly seasoned. The texture was so silky and smooth and the fine slices of potatoes on top was both beautiful, and added a textural delight in my mouth! Ah-Kal (sp?) was so polite and great service. A really relaxing and enjoyable lunch.
So glad I got to try this place while in the area the food, atmosphere and service was great!
What a great experience we had, the service was amazing. The apps we ordered were delicious and the drinks sooo good. We got to sit in their patio and it was such a great time!
Honestly this place is really good, especially the steaks, I think service is good, the employees are very understanding. The food is great and probably the best part about this restaurant. If you sit outside on a day with good weather it looks outstanding. I would love to see this place become popular I believe it has true potential. I would recommend this place!
I had tried to eat here over the summer with my boss, but it hadn't opened yet :( However, we tried again yesterday after hearing that they were officially open and were SO pleased with our experience. We arrived right at 11:30 for lunch (the time they open) and were not the first ones there. We did get seated right away though, however, they filled up fast so I would recommend a reservation if you don't want to wait. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. I'm also weird and picky about glassware and plates... read more
I arrived when they opened up at 5pm . Everyone was friendly and the hostess answered my questions. I was given a menu. As I sat at the bar I looked over the drink and food selections. Everything looked delectable and inviting. I ended up ordering the special. 1/2 fried chicken very crispy and not much grease. The best collard greens, mashed potatoes with gravy and a salad full of veggies, bacon and sliced boiled eggs. The drink was a Colonel Slammer very tasty. So in essence I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not... read more
I had a great experience at Sage and Salt. I really wish I would have been able to hear our bartenders name but it was a little over crowed and loud (beautiful black curls) because she was amazing and deaerves recognition. She gave me an amazing recommendation for dinner and I couldn't have been happier with my food and drinks she made for my friend and I. I hope everyone ends up with her as their bartender!
