Dr. Mostafavi was the only one who listened to my angst. I’ve seen many Providers who dismissed my complaints of poor sleep headaches fatigue and snoring which my husband said loud enough for entire Westwood to hear! I was told by many providers that most likely I don’t have a sleep disorder for the mere fact I’m barely 110 lbs and I’m a woman. Dr. Mostafavi reassured me it has nothing to do with weight or gender. Thank you for the clarifications Dr. Mostafavi!
I was so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Mostafavi for my sleep concerns. My doctor assured me that I was going to be in the best hands and I have to say he was absolutely right! I had no idea how complex sleep issues could be and how they wreak havoc on your body which is what had happened to me. I had become so sleep deprived that I could barely function. He is simply an excellent doctor. I was misdiagnosed by another doctor, and my cough was not going away. He quickly figured out what it was, gave me the right medication, and I was better in 2 days.
Dr, Said Mostafavi is running a dishonest operation. He owns Advanced Sleep Medicine (now out of business) which bills large amounts up front and then doesn't file paperwork with insurance, costing patients hundreds of dollars. Although I have never met him, he has sent me bills which I paid. I strongly encourage people to get medical care elsewhere unless you like throwing money away. Like Share
My experience with Dr. Mostafavi has been the worst I have ever had with a doctor. I am not inclined to write bad reviews and I believe other patients should be aware of unethical practices.
Dr Mostafavi & staff are LOVELY, caring, thorough & generous with their in-office time. But, I was told testing & results would take 1 month. Unfortunately, Dr Mostafavi partners with Advanced Sleep Medicine Services, Inc., testing center who do not follow through. It’s going on 4 months since my 1st appt & 1 month since my in-home study, which indicated 1), I stop breathing 20 x/hr, and; 2), that I need another test. Chronically fatigued, I lost my job 2 mos after my 1st appt. w/Mostafavi
