I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience at St. Als urgent care. the front desk gal was quick got us thru the entry procedure and to the waiting room in short order. while in the waiting room it couldn't have been 5 minutes before they had us in a room being attended to almost immediately. the diagnosis and follow up care was very much what I wanted and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone. thank you St. Als
Everyone was extremely nice, caring and efficient. We had to wait awhile but it's that time of year...lots of patients. Once in a room it was a bit before they could get there but they let us know they were running a bit behind. It was nice knowing up front it would take a bit longer. You could see the staff was working hard to accommodate everyone.
Absolutely terrible service. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful, particularly the provider that I was assigned. Lost my medication after only a couple weeks and was refused a refill, even though I still had several pills left. The nurse practitioner I had was extremely dismissive and flat out nasty. I will never use St. Alphonsus ever again. Medical care for the masses equal terrible service.
The staff was friendly enough, but I was less than impressed with the PA who saw me. First, he made me repeat myself several times while trying to get his transcription app to work. Not a big deal, I can live with that. Where it got frustrating is he came in saying the crutches/boot I was using for an ankle injury “seems like overkill”. He then proceeded to jam his fingers into the injured ankle with no regard to patient comfort. I was then sent for x rays. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for x ray results. I was in pain and had been sick for over a week. St Als going me in quickly and did a very thorough job of asking me questions and understanding what I was going through. It was very clear that they were concerned and took the time to find out exactly what my needs were and to understand medically what was happening with me.
