I had a PA, or maybe an NP, named Jeff. This was actually the second time my family had him as our provider. He had previously done a sports physical for my daughter. I really appreciated his care, he took his time, and explained things so well. I had a really bad virus, and while there was nothing they could do to treat me I still left the office feeling hopeful because of Jeff’s attention to detail. Had a pretty rude sounding cough going in. Given my ailment wasn't life threatening, was surprised I only had to wait about 15 mins. Nurse Practitioner Jeff was outstanding! He asked pertinent questions and explained the possible root causes. We ran a couple of tests and he listened to my lungs. His bedside manner was outstanding! He had some recommendations that we have followed to the "T". It has now been a couple of days and I am doing much better based upon his recommendations! Thank you Jeff!
I went to Saint Alphonsus Medical Emergency Clinic in Nampa for significant foot pain and left really disappointed. The provider was in and out in about five minutes. My blood pressure was brought up in a way that felt rude/judgmental rather than helpful, and the actual reason I came in (my foot) didn’t feel properly examined. The staff here were very kind and helpful. It was the end of the day and I was still given great attention and care. I was scared about my health issues and the doctor showed me comfort and reassurance that everything is going to be ok. And I really needed to hear those words. Thank you to all of you.
My right ear felt plug and I had numb feeling on my head between my ear and eye. A nurse cleaned my ear and a NP examined my ear, stating there was some white mucus in my inner ear and perhaps a cyst pushing on a never. She left and brought in a PA for a second opinion. After her exam they left the room to consult. The NP returned verifying her prognosis and she gave me an ambulatory referral for an ENT. No antibiotics, just a referral.
