The week before I appeared in this ER I had very bad diarrhea and I was in another urgent care where they gave me prescription for medicine with the words that I have diarrhea because I’m nervous. And as the end of the story - the medicine that gave me another urgent care didn’t work. Medicine didn’t stop diarrhea, I lost 6 pounds in 5 days, I had so bad headaches, I couldn’t stand on my feet more than 2 minutes, I couldn’t sleep because my belly was in pain. I was hesitant on going to any emergency department in the state of Delaware based on recent feedback from friends and social media regarding extremely long wait times. I was in way too much pain to drive far so I resorted to trying St. Francis ER for the first time. The parking was easy. Getting to the emergency room from the parking garage was a little confusing if you do not know where the emergency room is but once you get inside the staff were friendly and helped me find my way. Bravo St Francis….one of the best emergency room experiences I’ve ever had. I was checked in and in a room IMMEDIATELY after walking in…very caring nurses and PA…amazing bed side manner. If you’re thinking of going to Christiana’s ER..DONT. Save your time and mental health and come here instead.
Went in with the worst pain of my life and they thought I was looking for drugs. I told them multiple times I don’t want any, I just want to make sure nothing is wrong. They left me along for 2 hours, then told me to go home and take Tylenol. Worst doctors in the city.
