I had the best experience. The nurses Linda, Blanca and Gladys from O’Brien 7, were very professional and attentive. I felt very well taken care of. The assistant Rauquel was extraordinary with her bedside manner. Overall I believe this floor deserves to be THE example of how all healthcare teams should function.
This was my first time at St. Mary's ER. I was very impressed with their efficiency. I was taken immediately after arrival by ambulance. I was provided the necessary bracelets, asked necessary information & quickly brought to the waiting area where I spent so little time that I never got a chance to do any of the time wasting things I brought or charge my almost dead phone (although i was able to charge my phone inbetween testing & bloodwork later. I went to SMH for SVT and a new AFib episode, but I converted without intervention as I arrived at the hospital. I did not go by ambulance. I was seen quickly, an EKG, blood work, chest X-ray and IVF were administered. All the nurses and the MD who saw me were kind, courteous and kept my husband and I informed as to what the plan was.
