We have resumed performing screening mammograms and bone density (DEXA) studies on all women. I have brought many people here over the years and there is always some kind of a problem, that's what has compelled me to write this. From botched appt times, to phony excuses, rudeness, sickness from dye, and more! I even brung a crippled gal all the way over from the coast for an MRI and of course they said she was now unapproved and were unapologetic, just horrible really. Three stars because some people that work there are rude know it alls and things get jumbled and messed up. There are other people that are great- everyone actually doing the imaging. The person that I just talked to honestly made me want to cancel and go elsewhere for my breast imaging. Completely
Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Dr sent orders and authorization over on a Thursday. Come Tuesday, after several phone calls, I still couldn't schedule. They gave so many excuses and when I pushed back with information directly from my insurance and doctor they were rude. Exhausted and frustrated I called my doctor's office and asked if they had an imaging lab they preferred to work with. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful but after I went home I got sicker throughout the day. It wasn’t until about 12 hours after the liver contrast I was able to Google search about adverse reactions to the CT scan w/ contrast and to drink a lot of water to flush it out of my system to recover. Just wish someone told me to immediately start with drinking lots of water. I’m about a day behind in my recovery and it could have been a lot worse.
