July 1 , great location. Food was amazing. A little pricey but I enjoyed my steak. Coconut shrimp /prawns could be bigger for the price charged.
This was our first night in Calgary and after a long flight from London it was lovely to find a restaurant where the food and service were so good. Eating out in Canada seems relatively expensive especially if you have wine with the meal. The prices at Saltlik were about the norm but the quality of the food and the service were the best we experienced on our trip through the Rockies.

Saltlik never fails to impress! Fantastic food, atmosphere and top-notch service. Highly recommend Saltlik for a great dining experience.
Steak was excellent, and so was the soup we had (chowder and french onion.) The only concern would be service: it's one of those places where the wait staff tends to ignore you, walking by without even looking at you. It makes it very difficult to catch their eye with a request. And, as happens so often, the later it gets in the meal, the worse their attention gets. Do they forget when the tip decision is usually made?
Went there for a birthday dinner for my mother who was visiting from the States. They mentioned the occasion when we arrived, which made me hopeful. We were sat and immediately waited on. BUT... this is where it goes a little south, our server was HORRIBLE. The food was good and came out in a timely manner, but the bar drinks were very slow to arrive.
