The food took insanely long for what it was. Had to take it to go... great place if you have a few hours to spare
My husband and I came to the Saltlik for dinner to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of champagne each. The waitress also gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and happy hour prices on their drink menu for the entire evening. The food was amazing and we had a very memorable experience because of the friendly professional staff!!
Amazing food. Really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. It was wonderful.
Overall restaurant was good no complaints about the staff or service. Wish city of Calgary police would help the restaurants on the strip out and do a better job of clearing out the beggers and high people on the street so people can enjoy the restaurant patio with out being harassed every two seconds.
Experience was fine. Service was not very attentive, yet restaurant not that busy. Food was fine, but everything seemed heavily salted. For a mid-range steak dinner, I will likely choose elsewhere unless someone else wanted to come here.
Our issue was with a new waitress who, when asked if we could substitute lobster/mashed potatoes for the regular baked potato said , yes twice, and then charged us and wouldn't change the bill when we objected( nor would management)
Great place to dine. Service good as usual. Calamari was the best as always!
So far this is one of our favourites venue for our once a month lunch out with friends who work downtown. Service was impeccable and the food was great! With its awesome ambiance and convenient proximity to our respective offices, we will definitely come back!
