Love the décor & food, quiet enough that we can hear each others conversation. Will recommend it to my friends & will come back.
The food was spectacular, everyone enjoyed their meals! The service was less than stellar though. A waitress came at first to ask if we wanted drinks but our whole party wasn't there so we waited. Next waitress didn't come back for at least 10-15 mins post everyone arriving. After ordering drinks took another 15 mins, kindly reminded the waitress. Food was well cooked and tasty. Good atmosphere for a special occasion dinner.
Disappointed in the duck fries, very smoky flavor that was very overwhelming. No high chairs in the restaurant. A major head scratcher
Was fairly busy due to Stampede festivities, food was good, service a bit slow but not a major concern.
Calgary Stampede - Friday Night! Place is buzzing, thankfully had booked online. Food was excellent, service very good, needed a couple of prompts (ice bucket for white wine) not the end of the world. Wine list short of dry Rose. Forget the starter, mains are huge just had room to share a pudd. Recommend the New York Sirloin. Would love to use again.
Saltlik used to be my favorite stake house when I was in town few years back, it's not the case anymore after my last 2 visits. Service is still very good and friendly but kitchen went down quite a bit in my opinion. We took four different stakes (NY strip, filet Mignon, Rib eye) and Fair was our unanimous conclusion.
