The restaurant was fine, and the food was good. We had 7 people in our party and the food for some came out but 3 of us had to wait for about 10 minutes for our meal which I didn't think was great. The atmosphere is casual and the waiters were friendly.
I hadn't been in a long time and decided to head back in. I was thinking when you book through Open Table it seems you don't get the great seating...I was wrong. We had a lovely spot by the fireplace which was great for a chilly, rainy day. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent as I remembered it would be! Great spot! Nice gem for downtown!
We like the Saltlik and go there often. The last couple of times the hasn't been up to par.
Fantastic cuts of meat, just like the Banff location. Was disappointed that the lobster mashed potatoes were not the same, and the lobster meat had a weird pureed texture. The dry ribs app blew me away, and I feel like the restaurant did a great job elevating dry ribs.
Saltlik has always been the go-to steakhouse in Calgary next to Ceaser's and The Keg. Unfortunately Calgary can't find good people for service and Saltlik has the same issues. Server said he'd rather be outside than helping serve, and the meal came with some mistakes, but really it was a good experience. Worst experience personally for me at Saltlik, but that's because they are always 5 out 5. This night they were a 3-4. Not a big deal. Great food. Certified Alberta Beef (CAB), can't go wrong with this place.

Food, service and variety of menu always a pleaser, usually I eat there for business lunches. Sometimes it can be loud but a small price to pay for being a choice destination
First time at Saltlik, for our anniversary, using a gift card received from a friend. Service was excellent, food very good to excellent. Little on the expensive side but probably appropriate for the location, service, and quality of food. Will definitely return if in the area again.
Food was really good. Service and reception was good. A bit too noisy for my liking and not cheap for sure. Overall good experience. .
