Ordered 20oz rib-eye, bone-in, for two to share, came with 1 baked potato. No problem, I'll get another baked potato and a side order of 'double - Seasonal Vegetables'. The rib-eye arrived and as expected, was very delicious with baked potatoes were fully loaded. Seasonal vegetables- double sized, were by volume, smaller than the baked potatoes and soggy. Always a great experience with consistently good to great food and service. The Calamari, breaded or 'naked', is nothing short of amazing for a start. The steaks are always top quality and prepared to your exacting standards. Great place to enjoy with friends or as a Romantic evening out.
We went for New Years eve and the place hold our reservation they gave us our table very quick, the service is very good and the food is excellent, good list of wine and drinks.
Our food and service was absolutely great. I would definitely go there again and recommend to family and friends. Service was very fast as well considering it was New Years Eve.
The food was pretty good, as was the service. The waiter was very attentive and did a great job.
This is one of my favourite lunch spots downtown. In particular the stems and steam sandwich are outstanding. On my last visit I had the best Cappuccino of my life. The only downside is that out in the main part of the floor it can be a bit crowded and noisy. A great spot overall!
We had a group of nine, they sat us at a round table which was wonderful for inclusive conversation. Everyone said their lunch was delicious and given there were nine of us, they managed to serve everyone together in a good timeframe during a lunch time in the Christmas season. Thank you. We enjoyed our Christmas team lunch. Just a side note, when serving side choices to share it would be nice to have extra serving utensils.
We know there are plenty of steak houses in Calgary, but Saltlik tops them all. Not kidding. I have never had a steak so tender it melted in my mouth. It was beautiful.
I like Saltlik a good deal and like to take good friends. The food is always excellent and beautifully presented. The service is very good to excellent. It is a bit too noisy for chatting with strangers (IMHO), and probably for romance.
