I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we were very pleased! They have something for everyone on the wine list; the steaks were huge, perfectly cooked to order (med rare) and well-seasoned. The broccoli side is not to be missed! Neither of us made it even half way thru our meals, due to the large portions. We weren't in a hurry, so the fact that we waited 45 minutes to place our order was odd, but tolerable. And it got us a round of either drinks or desserts. Two of us picked free drinks and the other two picked free desserts. They brought the wrong desserts to the table, and they included nuts, which one of us is allergic to. Friendly staff who are responsive to varying patron's needs (kiddies, groups, theatre patrons, and first dates), Small but varied menu of specialty preparations, with a decent wine and drinks list. We had a sense of a short meal and drink list that rotated often for freshness and variety. We were disappointed with the service in the beginning with a waiter. Waiting for 15 mins on my beer was too much and he didn't even ask how I wanted my steak done. Switched to a different waitress and she was perfect.
Easy to walk to when staying at nearby hotels, especially on cold nights!
Always a great option to hit up Saltlik. 6 of us went in total - variant in our tastes and no one was disappointed! Definitely will be there again.
