Great food, great atmostphere, great place to be!
Pricey, but well worth the cost. Good food and they don't quibble over substitutions. Wait staff is helpful and attentive. Atmosphere is up-scale but still very comfortable.
Overall our experience at Saltlik was extremely disappointing. Our server was nice but really did not know how to be a waitress - especially at a higher end restaurant. When she finally got around to taking our drink order about 20 minutes after we sat down we ordered a bottle of wine. After another 15 minutes, just before our salad arrived, she asked if we wanted the bottle of wine when the main course was to be served. Nicely prepared and tasty Wedge Salad woth gpat cheese, and large portion of fries. Core of wedge slightly bitter at the end. Very attentive and friendly staff. Will come back.
Simple menu with great Calgary food - beef. Well cooked and very good service!!
I must say I was disappointed in the quality of food. It we all had steak which all seemed to be overdone and were not as tender as you would expect. For $36.00 I would expect more than a bake potatoe on my plate a disappointing steak. Our server was pleasant and the ambiance was a nice setting.

Friendly and knowledgable staff, relaxed atmosphere and a useful location for downtown workers. After multiple visits ove the years this is still my first choice when an enjoyable dinner is required.
