Good food BUT the mains came out way too early -- we weren't even half done our appetizers when they appeared. However, the restaurant did buy us dessert to make up for the timing problem. The toffee cake is great!
The service was very polite and attentive. This kitchen was a bit overwhelmed and therefore slow. But our server was apologetic and offered us complementary soup or salad. Our sirloin steaks were cooked as we asked and were very tasty. We didn't realize that vegetables would not automatically come with the meal: just steak and potato were served. It would have been useful if the server had mentioned that and pointed out on the menu the vegetable options which were available.

Food came out cold (including the steak). Appetizers were missed off the order only to come half way through the meal. Not charged for the 2 main dishes that were cold and the appetizers. Best desert in town (warm sticky toffee pudding!)..YUM YUM YUM.

james was a great waiter. i felt badly for him when he, first had to tell me there were no lemons in the restaurant and, at the end of the meal, had to tell me that they no longer offer decaffeinated coffee. REALLY?? he explained that not enough people ordered it and the pot always got wasted, so they've stopped carrying it. i think that's absurd. if they are that concerned about it, they should invest in a small 4 cup pot and make it when those rare people request it.
Food was good Service was slow, but it was pretty busy
The location is great so I usually go here right before a show. The food is generally good. The desserts are excellent as well!
