The older employee with the grey hair in acoustics was extremely disrespectful. I've purchased 7 guitars from this location in the last 10 years. Whenever I pick up a guitar he badgers me asking if I'm going to buy it rolls his eyes then sarcastically tells me shouldn't I ask permission before touching a guitar? I've never once had a problem playing guitars at sam ash around the country in the 25+ years I've spent affiliated with them. Sam ash is my least favorite music store they don't let me jam... And that is no normal for a music store... Or in simpler words they suck.
Best music store in town
The biggest music store around here... maybe TOO big. Several times, I have gone in to talk to a "specialist" in several different departments (mostly keyboards) and I left with a promise that they would call me with the answer or the model number or such, and I have NEVER gotten the callback. I guess they think they are too Rockstar to bother with such things. So, three stars is a gift as far as I am concerned.

went into the store with lots of cash and wasnt busy at all, I wanted to mod my PRS and was looking for hardware parts,pickups, etc. I had PLENTY of questions...during the first 45 min. no one offered any assistance. the guy was too busy talking to his buddy in the acoustic section....after i had my hands full of stuff i went to the register to stand there for another 10 min. finally i just stared at the guy in the acoustic section long enough to get his attention and when he finally came thru the door I was soooo mad that I... read more
