Had an appointment scheduled for an abscess urgent care was concerned for. In addition, I noticed a small lesion that made me concerned for cancer. Got a message to confirm my appointment but wasn’t able to confirm in time (due to being at work). I was called 2 hours later and was left a voicemail saying that the doctor (Dr. Stephen Talley) didn’t see why I was coming in and suggested going “to urgent care or something similar to that”. Horrible horrible horrible. Let me rephrase- doctor York was fabulous the office staff in the other hand awful! I have been calling for over three months leaving messages after messages for someone to call me back and no one does. The one time I did talk to someone- Katie, the surgical coordinator, she was beyond rude to me and told me she wasn’t the one who made the error and didn’t know how to fix it. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Visited Dr. Desai last year. I am billed $296 after my insurance paid $300. I was given a sprayed medicine through my nose and he look at it with a scope which took less than a minute for him to say I have deviated nasal septum. I was NOT told there would be a $500 fee if I was given this nose endoscopy or whatever the procedure called. My concerns and well being was not addressed in this visit. He said he can’t do surgery to fix deviated nasal septum and concave nose. So he sent me to a ... read more
I call for 3 days and can’t get anyone to answer, even after 16 minutes sitting on hold I get hung up on. I had an apt scheduled after waiting 3 weeks and they called me 10 minutes before closing on the day before to cancel my appointment because the Dr was OOF. I was unable to answer to reschedule and now I can’t get ahold of anyone! They are either severely understaffed or undertrained for office management.
