My dad uses a walker now, so we needed a smooth, non-slip path from the driveway to the porch. San Diego Pavers suggested large format pavers with a gentle slope and hand-troweled edges. They poured a stable concrete base, set the stones, and grouted joints tight so nothing shifts. Dad rolled over it the first evening and said, “This is ten times better than that cracked sidewalk.” The house looks nicer and, more importantly, it’s safe.
We recently redid our entire backyard and San Diego Pavers was a huge part of that. Their team designed a beautiful patio with porcelain pavers and built a custom BBQ island. After retiring, we finally decided to upgrade our walkway and front entry. We got a few estimates but San Diego Pavers won us over with their attention to detail. The crew was respectful and worked through the week without interruption. Now we get compliments from the neighbors constantly. It really brought new life to the house.
Old pebble deck hurt everyone’s feet, so we switched to slip resistant pavers around the pool. Crew cut curves to hug the spa and aligned the drain slots perfectly. They sealed it twice, said “wait 48 hours,” and we cannon-balled on day three. Surface stays cool in August sun huge win.
Our cracked concrete driveway needed more than a patch, and we wanted a matching walkway up to the front porch. San Diego Pavers designed a seamless transition using charcoal border pavers and lighter field stones. They demo’d the old slab, prepped the subgrade, and poured a sturdy concrete ribbon before installing the pavers. The crew worked with minimal noise and even let us park on the street overnight.
