I had a small procedure at San Mateo Podiatry the other day. Shareen and her volunteer helper Gabby handled it. About Shareen I don’t think 5 stars is enough, I feel she is a valued asset to the business. She is very professional and a great health care worker. Gabby, the volunteer helper was very caring and very interested in what was going on. Her bedside manner seemed genuine and appreciated. The office is warm and welcoming. All associates and doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. Shareen goes beyond what you would expect on your visit. I highly recommend San Mateo Podiatry Group as you will not be disappointed. 5 ⭐️’s

I must say i was very pleased by the time I left Dr. Metaxas office I was a new patient and it was nice they showed me around the office made you feel at home. Must say that I was very impressed that the staff was so knowledgeable about how the office worked and information about the doctor. By the time i left the office the doctor had diag. my problem and prescribed a medicine that would cure ,my problem. I have been using it as described

DO NOT COME HERE. READ THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS. Highly unethical place. I went in for what should have been a very simple in-grown toenail procedure and the doctor botched the small surgery. For some reason the doctor kept asking me to look at my bloody toe as he was performing the surgery, even though I was clearly trying to distract myself from the pain and blood of him cutting out my toenail. The doctor told me that it was highly likely that this surgery would be a permanent fix, however the exact same issue came back... read more

We always practice good medicine, and work with patients to help them understand their cost share and overcome any finance barriers.
Though the office is very polite, you will constantly get scheduled by the staff on the same date that one of the doctor's surgery days and get either shuffled to the other doctor in the office or rescheduled perpetually. The two doctors gave two different diagnoses. I is important to note this started before Covid-19 and has continued for 7 months.
