My dog Sparky is 18 years old. Sandy Hill has a separate area for older dogs and Sparky loves it. He isn’t nervous to go in anymore. He just lets the nice humans take him back. The people there are so nice and my family knows that they love their job. And when he comes out after grooming he has a cute bow tie on. I just can’t say enough how great they treat my baby.
Took our 2 for the first time for a long boarding stay. They kept a close eye on them since it was their first long stay and checked in when they thought there may be an issue (but all was well!). Will definitely come back!! They treat the pups like family!
Sandy Hill was recommended to us by our next door neighbors. I have been using them for boarding our Cavapoo (Lucas) since 2013. Lucas loves everyone there and always seems very happy when he stays there. I recently started using there grooming services and am very pleased with the way Natasha cut his hair. He looks adorable! I highly recommend Sandy Hill Kennels!
I took Oliver for his first kennel visit to Sandy Hill Kennels and As nervous as I was- I felt comfortable knowing he was safe and being well taken care of~ best feeling for a dog mommy !
Over the past 26 years our 6 dogs have been boarded at Sandy Hill. Our current (rescue) dog Callie is fearful but sweet. They give her special attention as if she were their only guest. I read the same things in many other posts! I agree with whoever wrote about their dog moping when suitcases come out...I am apprehensive, too, until she gets there and is so lovingly cared for. They email me promptly if I inquire, which is much appreciated.
Sandy Hill is probably the only kennel I will ever trust with my dogs! After seeing how well they were with my parents' dog, I knew that it was where my dog had to go as well. They are the absolute best! Our dog, Wally, has anxiety issues and the staff immediately made certain accommodations for him without us even having to ask. That certainly eased my mind when we dropped him off. Wally loves the staff and Megan did a great job with his bath and groom! He will definitely be back for all boarding and grooming needs!
