RecommendedThis was our first time using Sandy Hill Kennels and we are beyond happy with how well they treated our dogs. Both can be a little anxious and one has never stayed at a kennel before and they took such good care of them - they were so happy and relaxed when my husband picked them up! We will definitely be using them again!
We've been taking our dogs to SHK for over 5 years for boarding and grooming and they've always been fantastic. Our dogs pull to go INTO the building and are always so happy to see everyone. Recently one of our dogs have developed a new medical condition and the staff has been so caring, going above and beyond to make accommodations. I don't think I can recommend them enough!!

Do I recommend Sandy Hill Kennels? Unequivocally This is my favorite place to stay when my family goes on vacation. I got to see my trainer when I stay here too. I love the staff, they make sure I stay safe, and happy. They gave me a bath, trimmed my nails, and made me really really poofy. I love everyone here. WOOF!
My very, high energy Australian Shepherd looked so beautiful when we picked her up. I’m not sure how they do it, but everything was done to perfection! I’ll be paying the little bit extra than what I was paying Petco, to take her back to a local place that does an exceptional job!
We just picked up our 2 dogs after a week’s stay. My dogs are *major* homebodies; they can be very anxious in a new setting, so I worried over leaving them in a kennel (I usually hire someone to stay at the house with them, but since that’s not always possible, took up on a recommendation from a very trusted source to bring them to Sandy Hill.) Kenneled my working dog here and he did great. Had him groomed there as well. Friendly staff and great facility. Would recommend Sandy Hill Kennels to anyone looking to board their dog and will definitely use them again.
Our dog, Cash, is fear-aggressive and in a 100 pound German Shepherd that is not the best trait. He is very wary around people and has major trust issues. Sandy Hill Kennels has been the very best place for our boy to stay when he can't be with us. Every staff person has not only accommodated Cash's needs, they all have made huge efforts to make Cash feel comfortable with them.
