This center does not cooperate with referrals for specialists period. This center forced my surgery to be delayed by two weeks because they could not be bothered to fill out simple paperwork. And now my medical infusions are being delayed because they AGAIN refuse to fill out the necessary paperwork. My specialist called their office multiple times for me and they claim I am not a patient here when I am. I do not understand why this office is so utterly incompetent. The 1 star review is not because of my history with this health care facility . They have been awesome. My regular doctor went on vacation and I was given a replacement. I have been going to Sanitas for almost a year . The reception desk is very nice and helpful. I have been seeing Samia. A very sweet woman that listens well. Sanitas Medical Center is my primary care provider now. The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. My doctor is Carmen Allende and she is awesome. My physical exam was in January and Dr Allende has quickly followed up with any MRIs, ultrasound and whatever is needed to complete the process. She does not wait for bad things to happen, She is VERY proactive about getting things done. She takes the time to explain everything, and she does not rush you out of the office. Always a pleasure coming into the office and being assisted by wonderful staff. Mariana in particular is so beautiful with the most amazing spirit. She’s attentive, personable, and always super pleasant. Another plus is that she speaks highly of her provider while preparing you for your visit. I’m glad to have found this hidden gem
Two times I drove to see my oncologist over 1.5 drive and when I arrived no referral. I had once again to reschedule vital appointments. Getting prescription refill is almost Impossible.They want you to go through the portal even though I was seen by the doctor 2 months ago. This is wasted time. And a disregard to their cancer patients.
