I've consistently had great experiences with Dr. Velazquez. You can tell he really prioritize his patients' well-being, and their care is always so thorough. I particularly appreciate how clearly he explain things and their incredibly reassuring demeanor. It's truly refreshing. Dr. Velazquez is both attentive and compassionate, and I always feel like he genuinely understand what I need. Because of that, I always leave feeling well-cared for and confident in the plan. Definitely recommend!
The referral department is the WORST. I was supposed to have a procedure done almost 3 weeks ago and 4 days before my procedure, they called and stated I would need to see my PCP and get the referral sent over. I was able to get a last minute appointment with Dr. Velasquez after switching him to my PCP (because he was the only one to have a sooner appointment). During the appointment I had to explain multiple times why I needed the procedure and that I needed a referral. I even had to call the office I’m getting the procedur... read more
My doctor's visit at Sanitas was top-notch and went smoothly. All the medical staff that I interacted with were great. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Dr. Velazquez-Lucena was very knowledgeable and friendly. The facility was clean and there wasn't a long wait. This is a convenient and professional medical facility that I highly recommend.
I’ve never felt more like what I was saying was not heard. I scheduled appointments for myself and my husband. I arrived first and ask to fill out paperwork for both of us. I was told no, not until he arrives. I am then called back to a room where I waited long past my appointment time after talking to the medical assistant.
