The front desk staff was unhelpful and even accidentally shared private patient records. The doctor was rather rude and unsympathetic.
I was referred to Dr. Penn's office by my dentist for a root canal. Dr. Penn performed my root canal and it was such an amazing experience. Leticia at the front desk was very kind, and worked with me over the phone to get my appointment scheduled without a consultation appointment. During the procedure itself, I felt no pain at all with the exception of the small pinch of the anesthetic needle. Dr. Penn took the time to personally call me and answer questions that I had prior to the procedure. The root canal procedure was actually not as painful as popularly described. Dr. Penn was calm, kind, meticulous, and very aware of when I made even the slightest wince. He explained what he was doing as he went along. He saved a badly cracked tooth that might otherwise have been lost. I would highly recommend him! All staff members were professional and courteous. A great office.
As a septuagenarian, and having had maybe 4 or 5 root canals done to me with as many different dentists or endodontists Dr. Penn was certainly one of, if not the most meticulous and careful. Furthermore, he and his team went through a careful testing process for which my regular dentist's procedure had been indeterminate. A day later with the intense problem pain gone and the concomitant sensitivity greatly reduce as forecast, I have to conclude that Dr. Penn's diagnosis was spot on.
