Home like taste and Jain food available without onion and garlic. Prices are reasonable as per taste. Ambience is comforting. Good place for Indian Food in San Diego.

In our trip of nine days, today was the last day and what an end it was after having an excellent lunch at Sattvik Foods. Special mention goes to excellent Dahi Kebab that came as an appetiser. It was so tasty that we ordered one plate separately. We also had Sabudana Vada and that was good too. Last but not the least we ended meal with an excellent Rasmalai, I must admit it was the best I have ever had. Special mention goes about Chanda Ben who served us all these delicious food. Must visit for every Indian whenever they vi... read more

We visited on a Sunday with friends for a vegetarian brunch, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, and the variety of snacks and desserts available was impressive. We tried the dabeli, misal pav, pav bhaji, and khaman dhokla—all of which were absolutely delicious. We also grabbed some thepla for our trip back to New York. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d highly recommend it.

Horrible Samosa…I was reluctant to order for catering but thought let’s just order samosa. Gave the order in advance, picked 30 samosa for birthday party. I felt it was old samosa refried. Haldiram or Punjabi frozen samosa are better than this. These may go well with Chat or any other add on where samosa looses its identity. These crispy cover will go well with chat. But eating these samosa by itself was not satisfactory. This place sometime surprise me with good food but sometime I get disappointed.

Overall, this is a hidden gem for authentic, delicious vegetarian Indian food. Small spot with a family feel and self-serve style tucked away in the Mira Mar industrial district. Full Thali is definitely the way to go, they make a different set of foods daily for the thali and it's a good spread of different flavors. Alternatively you can order specific entrees if you like, we always get samosas. They've also got a large selection of Indian bakery goods and drinks. The laddu desert is my favorite. Although the shop itself ... read more
