Dr Tong is courteous, knowledgeable, caring and personable. I always feel that at every visit he makes my welfare his top priority and ensures I am clear and informed on all test results and findings. I never feel rushed or encouraged to have unnecessary tests. He is excellent at explaining his findings and his reasons for recommended follow up tests.
Just completed a follow up appointment on some blood work to monitor my condition. It was a FaceTime meeting which was very convenient since it didn't involve any office visit. I find this type of interaction preferable when your health problem does not require an office visit.
Dr. Tong was out of town when I had an urgent medical need. He referred me to the ER at Torrance Memorial. As you can imagine the ER was packed, but Dr. Tong contacted an associate at the hospital that took my case and provided excellent attention, which I would not have received had Dr. Tong not intervened. Dr. Tong continued contact with me until the my problem was diagnosed and dealt with properly. He's a very caring and competent physician. I am grateful that I am his patient.
Dr. Tong is a wonderful doctor that is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He listens to my issues and concerns and answers all my questions. I'm confident my health will get better under Dr. Tong's care. I'm so glad I found Dr. Tong!
Dr Tong has been fantastic and responsive for many years whether it be a simple question or update or a more serious health situation. Trust and confidence are important in your Dr and he delivers both. I also like that I can ask tough questions and have a discussion about treatments, alternatives, etc.

I see Dr. Tong via telehealth. He is very knowledgeable, kind, patient and thorough. He listens to all my issues and concerns and ask questions to help identify the cause of my problems.
