We’ve always adored Dr. Tong, not so much Torrance Memorial, so VERY happy with his move to concierge medicine where he is much more able to spend time with us. He even spends time with his patients outside the office doing healthy things with us (his great staff included).
Dr Tong’s new concierge medicine practice is excellent. Patients enjoy virtually unlimited time and access to the doctor. He is available for routine visits and all general health care information.
I am a fellow physician who relies on Dr Tong to care for me. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and takes the time to provide the right answers. This is not always obvious to us patients during our visit. He is kind, caring and knows his patients well. I will continue to see him in his new concierge practice.
I found Dr Tong to be professional and personable, as well as, well versed on the latest medical research and procedures. He took time to explain the various treatment options and why he recommended specific items.
Wait time was average and bedside manners were great. I brought my 2 kids with me (3 and 5... had no other choice) and he was very friendly with them. Doctors always seem rushed to me. Dr. Tong was just like other practitioners in this aspect, but a little more personable/friendly. This review is for a couple visits back in Sep. 2015.
