As a business owners we face different challenges. I have been with Seacoast for 2 years and they are the best bank around Sanford. The Whole staff is wonderful. They have good products for Businesses, loans for real estate transactions, commercial and residential. I am grateful because thanks to them and their staff.
Be aware if you have a loan that requires insurance. I sent them proof of insurance for my business. They still put forced insurance in place! Now I'm paying twice?! Then I received a statement with a 300.00 more a month loan payment because of an escrow shortage from the insurance they forced on top of my already insured property. An audit on Seacoast bank as well as a hard look from The Department of Banking and Financing should take place. #departmentofbankingandfinancing
I really wanted to use a local bank but it was huge and costly mistake!!! Wire deposit take forever to clear, when they do appear on your account you never know if it's actually there and get hit with massive overdraft fees. I've never had a bank charge overdraft fees because of the over draft fees. Despite running 6 figures through their bank annually, they were unwilling to negotiate any of the fees. The $60 charge for a new debit card was the final straw for me. AVOID!!!!
