I don’t understand a rule that Citizens Bank has. I was unable to go to the bank myself due to the fact I just had surgery and can’t drive. I sent my sister instead. She had a $200.00 check from another bank. Half of it was to be deposited into my Citizens bank account. The other half was to come back to me. The check was made out to cash. My sister signed it, she showed her ID. They refused to give her the balance of $100.00 because her name wasn’t on the account. Absolutely terrible bank. Customer service is also terrible. I have never had so many issues with one institution. Several times my card was declined, business and personal. I went into the bank and stated the problems and was told that I was more than welcome to go bank anywhere else. The problem was they never processed something on their end to reactivate the cards. This bank has been my bank since I moved to The Villages, about 6 years ago. They are polite, patient and will talk to you personally about any issue. I had some automatic paycheck problems and Maria and I talked more than once. Excellent customer service, much appreciated.
Amazing the difference between branches. When this Pinellas branch don't have something they sorrowfully blame it on the lack of business. I have been coming here almost weekly. They don't know me yet. Personal changes too much. I have to drivefurtherbut the Colony Branch has it all over this branch. It must start at the top. My last trip here,,, sad!
Pleasant and efficient staff all around. Interior design is nice and well monied. Service is always timely. Tellers Ruth, Mary, and Zeta do a dazzling job.
