I had an issue with a $50.00 bill failing the counterfeit pen test at Publix upon check-out. Knowing that I got the bill at the Seacoast Bank in Spainish Plains, I met with Bank Manager Theresa Radcliff. She was totally awesome. She was very understanding by not discounting my concerns, she took the bill into the back room, did an evaluation and informed me that the bill was over 70 years old which is why it did not pass the current methods of counterfeit testing. Tisha at the bank in Lady Lake has been helping me weekly. My sister is not well and we have help at the house daily. With Tisha's help we are able to pay for that help every week. Thank you for always being so kind and helpful and going out of your way to help.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My parents are in their 90's and suffering from dementia. I moved them to another state to care for them. We closed the account and were given a cashier check. When I deposited the check locally, it came back as altered or counterfeit. Trying to get help from this bank is appalling. They are expecting a 94 year old with dementia to answer questions from 30 years ago. Three phone calls later and waiting on the phone over one hour still hasn't fixed the problem.
