As this was, for me, “a trip of a lifetime”, my expectations going into the cruise we’re high but my expectations were met and exceeded. Did many things that did not expect to do, like, swim in the pack ice in a large, bright orange condom! Thought the expedition was very well organised but left enough room for flexibility in the schedule, for example an extra day in the pack ice. I have just had the most extraordinary trip to the Arctic with Secret Atlas on Kinfish with 9 other adventurous spirits. The experience is very new to me with little exposure to ships and sea, the arctic ice and climate, flora and fauna. Our nordic crew and multicultural fellow travellers were stimulating and great fun. The adventure of a lifetime! We went in August 2023 on a 10-day expedition with secret atlas on a small ship with only 12 guests. Each day was a new discovery. I never felt so connected with nature and wildlife. Entering the realm of ice, cruising through sea ice and among glaciers was an experience I'll never forget. Without any doubt, one of the best trips we ever did! We had the best experience with Secret Atlas on our micro expedition in Svalbard, in August 2023 onboard Kinfish. The crew was very professional and the whole experience was really smooth from start to finish. Swimming near the North Pole was easily one of the best experiences of my life.
