I signed up for a storage unit promotion advertised as “one month free” and paid the $29 admin fee, only to receive an email with a code, an address, and absolutely no contact information or instructions about where the unit actually was or who to speak to onsite. I called that evening and spoke with a very kind woman who informed me my account was locked and that I would need to provide my own disc lock. I called these guys for some clarifications. The guy on the other end told me that the first month is free - just like it is on the website - but after I gave him all the details on the phone and made the reservation, the email I received says "a special 1st-month rate of $29 and a one-time facility admin fee of $29". When I told him that it says $29 not free for first month, he kept diverting me to the admin fee and dodging it. Out of curiosity, I went ahead and created my own reservation on the website. Andrew was very helpful, explained everything and courteous throughout the process. The storage was clean and easy to locate. The property seems very secure.
Overall, it was a great experience. The only real issue is that the driveway needs to be repaired and redone — some of the potholes are bad enough to cause vehicle damage. I was also disappointed that my rent increased by $100, which felt excessive.
