I brought my car to Serramonte Ford in September 2024 for a recall on the front doors. At the time, my driver’s side window wasn’t rolling up or down. After the recall service, I was told that a part was needed and that the entire door would need to be replaced. I was assured they would follow up once the part was available. I brought my truck to the dealership service department for a leaking sunroof. service advisor Rich Lucas tried to advise me to turn it into my auto insurance. I paid a lot of money for an extended warranty. I dropped the truck off for my appointment on Wednesday morning. I tried getting an update several times and got no information. I dropped off my car for a simple oil change on Friday afternoon, I asked the service advisor if my car would be ready by Saturday and he assured me it would be ready! Well I received no call from Serramonte service department all morning so Around 3:30 after running some errands I decided to give them a call thinking they would be closing at 5 on Saturday just to have no one answered! Although I was initially very satisfied with the sales team when I purchased my Mustang Mach-E 2 years ago (my salesperson was AMAZING), my recent experience with the service department was a HUGE disappointment. I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle checked because of a warning light that appears when I start my vehicle. My appointment was scheduled for 9 am. Update: they damaged my truck in service when they had it for 3 weeks. Trying to deny it and claim they looked over 3 weeks of videos. And that I could fully inspect when it was a dirty bumper. Only saw when I cleaned up the truck when I went home. 0/10 for bad behavior. Service frontend people are very nice, but every time I bring in my truck it gets new damage.
