I’m extremely disappointed with my recent service experience at Ford Service in Colma. Richard Wisnewski handled my service, and the lack of communication and transparency was unacceptable. I was never provided a clear written estimate upfront. My warranty approved $3,451.11 for the repair, yet the dealership claimed the total service cost was $4,169.46, stating their labor rate was higher than the labor rate they themselves submitted to the warranty company. If you want to waste your time then this is the place to go. I had an appointment at 12:15, I arrived 15 minutes early. I was told they were behind schedule and it would be 3-4 hrs wait time. I was told there were 3 other people ahead of me also with appointments. I was with my Twin toddlers and as anyone can imagine that wait time with an appointment is unacceptable. I brought my truck to the dealership service department for a leaking sunroof. service advisor Rich Lucas tried to advise me to turn it into my auto insurance. I paid a lot of money for an extended warranty. I dropped the truck off for my appointment on Wednesday morning. I tried getting an update several times and got no information. Finally on Monday afternoon I drove to the dealership and it had never even been looked at. I ended up picking it up and I’ll try to go to a different dealership. I brought my car to Serramonte Ford in September 2024 for a recall on the front doors. At the time, my driver’s side window wasn’t rolling up or down. After the recall service, I was told that a part was needed and that the entire door would need to be replaced. I was assured they would follow up once the part was available. Fast forward to February 2025. I never heard back from them. When I called to get an update, the same service advisor who originally told me the door needed replacement suddenly changed their story. Don't bother going here for service. Found out from my dash cam video that they didn't 1) do the multi point inspection, 2) do the recall inspection that we agreed upon. My vehicle was driven to the back of the lot, parked there for 3hrs, and moved to the front lot.
