I had SSI come out and install a new sink faucet for my bathroom. The service was excellent. Gene was on time, knowledgeable, and professional. When I had questions about other plumbing issues, Gene answered them, and didn't get too technical on me, so that I understood the answers. I will highly recommend SSI to my friends and neighbors for their plumbing issues.
We have used SSI HVAC and Plumbing for more than 15 years. Chris has been our primary HVAC Technician, but Joe Rowan has been our Tech for the past year. How is an extremely competent and efficient Technician. He is very quick to identify the problem, and has always been able to fix it during the same house call. My problem was no water. Gene McConkey very quickly located two burst copper pipes in an unheated (freezing) area of my basement. Following his advise, I arranged to block the cold air coming through a small broken basement window (I'll get it fixed when the weather is warmer) and leaving the door partially open to admit warm air from the rest of the heated basement. I now have water and the pump is not running continuously--which would soon have worn it out.
The service technician (Clint) was extremely professional and effective in troubleshooting the problem. He provided me evidence of the failure and tested to ensure operation of my humidifier. He provided additional information on areas of concern for future consideration.
Jose provided great service and professional expertise on his follow-up visit to address a few things that neede attention for the county Inspections on our new Trane Furnace and water heater. I highly recommend SSI as they provide a competitive fair price for the work they do.
