I am a new resident here at Seven65 lofts. My initial experience, after move in, has been quite positive. To list some of the points: everyone I have met is friendly, it is conveniently close to city center, it has thick walls so is quite quiet for the location. Parking is directly adjacent to the the units; making groceries, and unloading furniture, very easy; a major plus for someone making the move alone. And the staff has been very helpful as I get my affairs in order (e.g. packages, laundry, questions, etc...). Being new, with a fresh unit, I haven't had to deal with maintenance yet, (there is no abstain option on this site for ratings). Preliminarily, at least, the appliances are all functional, and I haven't noticed any negatives such as bugs, rodents, water damage, etc... I will write back again as experiences happen and time moves on. Until then Ciao~ more »

Good Location
The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. Work orders are handled in a timely manner. Heat/AC keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the hot Utah summers. There is a comm
unity laundry facility and once in a while, I have to wait to use a washer. There is also a mandatory entertainment package included in rent, which is about $90. We are walking distance from Trader Joes, Sprouts, Smiths, Whole Foods, and a number of eateries. Trax and bus lines also run right along 400 S. Super convenient if you don't have a car. Overall the complex is quiet, and I feel safe. more »

I am a current resident. I have been living here for the last 7 months. My neighbors are great, I love the pool and having on site laundry is wonderful. When picking out an apartment one of my priorities is safety especially since I live on my own. I couldn't feel safer. I made such a great choice when I made the decision to live here. more »

It really makes a difference in an apartment complex when you have an amazing manager running it! Beautiful area, great management. Truly feels like a home! more »

Great location, close to downtown and UofU decent price
Great location in between downtown and University of Utah. Decent rent price. Utilities are not individually metered and run about $75 - $
90 per mo. (some think it's great; but that's high for my usage). Studios, 1 and 2 bedroom lifts available. Quite neighborhood. 7 ft outdoor swimming pool. Laundry in clubhouse. Small gym. Open, unassigned parking (which is convenient). Safe Ave quiet neighborhood. Wood-burning fireplace in each unit. Love the location and the staff! Gave 3 stars because of the utilities, popcorn ceilings, bumpy walls. AC unit on patio (for all tenants in 1st floor) are a bit loud. Updated models are nice, but do not have granite countertops. more »

There were some humps and bumps at the very beginning, but the staff was nice and cooperative (---------------) so everything went smooth.
During my 1 year stay I enjoyed the location, maintainc
e, staff, laundry.
Location: Many groceriy store around (if you don't have a car, this is the perfect location). Trax station, bus stops, banks, hardware stores, religious places, and much more. Great location!!
Maintaince: I just sent an email to ---- for a work order and in less than 24 hours the job is done.
Staff: friendly and helpful
Laundry: I found their laundry the cheapest from around the area (normal washing load).
It's worth the rent you pay!

I really enjoy living here. I feel that the best thing about it is the convenience to TRAX, grocery stores, and its pretty close to the University of Utah. The lot is fairly serene with lots of flowers and brightly painted red chimneys. It feels more like going to a home than an apartment. Our loft is recently renovated; we've got a decent view of the mountains and downtown, it feels spacious inside, and if there's ever a problem (like a light bulb out) the maintenance guy is really cool and gets on the job fast.
The worst thing is that it is a little bit more expensive than I'd like (1201 basic rent up to 1341 with utilities this month). But I'd say it's worth it compared with other apartments in the area. The walls are a little thin so that it can get noisy, the vents are connected so that if a neighbor smokes in the bathroom it comes in to your unit.
Overall, it's a comfortable and spacious apartment in the midst of a peaceful community in a great location at a fair-slightly expensive price.

You should check it out now - there is a new ownership and new management company. I stayed there last year and it was great. The apartment was clean, new furniture and the Manager and maintenance guy were really professional. They did have a bed bug problem but the new staff got it taken care of right away. more »

Pros: Very close to traxs station, great garden in the back if you have a dog, swimming pool and hot tub are also available in addition to the parking. The new management seems to be trying hard to make everyone satisfied. Cons: Use to be a hotel, a old broken down one at that. Construction has finished and the place "looks" much better, however under all the paint the place is still the old place. This would be fine as it appears the newer places have complete redone interiors, however, with a price tag of 900+ dollars you can do much better. more »
