I just brought my daughter for her first haircut before her fourth birthday. I could not have asked for a better experience. She was nervous about getting her haircut and everyone was so kind and accommodating. Also very clean and organized. It’s refreshing to go into a business where the staff are all friendly and welcoming. All of the little extras they do with the haircuts make it extra special for the kids. Don’t go if your boy has long shaggy hair and u just want a trim I will show my before and after and I wanted a trim same shape and they butchered it probably just got wrong lady I said trim keep length and she just kept cutting saying she layering it ! I paid but maybe I shouldn’t have this is unsatisfying! Also 29$!!! Idk Texas thing but I took him to where I used get my hair done like ladies salon and she trimeed his hair lovely for $20 and it was legit shampoo etc not spray water . The ONLY place to bring your child for a haircut in Cypress is here. Sharkey's caters strictly to the young set and makes the salon experience so much fun. Nydia did an excellent job cutting and styling my 6-year old granddaughter's hair. She even threw in a little manicure! The prices are terrific too.
Great place to take your kids. My son (5) doesn’t like getting his hair cut, hates the clippers especially. I ended up doing it myself at home and it always ended in tears. But with the special chairs and getting to watch his favorite show, he got a great cut in only 15 mins with no problems. Sharkeys may just have made haircuts fun for him. I would give five stars but he actually had a really bad experience here when he was younger. (That’s another story, but after this great experience we will be coming back.)
Cannot say enough positive things. They squeezed us in last minute for my daughter’s special performance day and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to give my daughter the hair style of her dreams. Including buying ribbon to put in her hair. We can’t wait to book our next appointment! Also incredibly clean professional and kidtastic environment.
