Shimmering Waters (SW) has serviced our pool for years, including electrical repairs, parts replacements, trouble-shooting, and even re-surfacing the pool once. Their service is very timely, even during the busy, hot summer months. The servicemen who come to our house are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When I called for service recently (we had several leaks due to our neglect) they arrived within an hour. I would give this company a negative number if possible. They built our pool two years ago and when I requested service Due to problems with the filtration and pump systems, they told me to contact the manufacturer and deal with the warranty under them instead. When I questioned it with the owner, he hung up on me never ever use this company.
Warning! Stay away! This company has the most atrocious customer service I've ever experienced. To make matters worse, their pool technician has managed to ruin our pool not once, not twice, but three times by using the wrong chemicals. Despite giving them the benefit of the doubt and allowing them to continue cleaning our pool, the last incident was the final straw when our chlorinator EXPLODED from a chemical reaction, causing chemical burns. Installation of new filter was great experience. However when it came to servicing pool they took over $300 just to show up and dump chlorine in the pool. They never bothered to vacuum kept saying we needed to drain pool to get it clean. After telling them to stop coming my 74 year old mother and 12 year old son had the pool blue and clean. Why couldn't "professional tech" do the work?!?! Woman in the office is unpleasant to deal with, her customer service skills are horrible.... she is down right grouchy to say the least... read more
