Pediatric floor was so disorganized that we demanded they discharge our son because we were worried for his safety. To many professionals, poor communication, lack of accountability and the Child Life specialist needs a lesson in HIPPA as he left his notes with kids names, needs and room numbers just laying around. Very disappointing Update: I have reached out to be contacted regarding our experience and have yet to be contacted back. Once again, poor communication appears to be a major problem

I am very satisfied with my experience at the AbilityLab. After a few sessions with Dr. Goostree PT, I found relief from my back pain. The exercises he showed me were very empowering and I felt like he truly cared about my well-being. I also liked how modern the facilities are. I'd highly recommend the AbilityLab.

I went here for an extended time, did every *single* piece of assigned exercises given to me, and did not get relief. I switched care and within a couple of visits with someone more experienced, my new PT (i.e. not here) was able to figure out what was actually wrong with me, and start working on the problem. After several sessions with her (well after I gave up on this place), and I'm already pain free, which is amazing and made me glad I cancelled my last appointments here. I recently had what should have been minor surgery at a nearby "hospital" which left me dangerously close to losing my leg and my life. If not for Dr. Soriano at Shirley Ryan, who I would swear is an angel, I would most likely now be without a leg and most likely not be here at all. Don't go here if u need help. They delay meetings with doctors and cancel appointments ironically they don't care about patients wellbeing.

I just wanted to send a shout out to Steve Goostree my PT and Dr. Monica Rho @ Shirley Ryan Rehab Lab. I've been with Steve since early March and he has been nothing but professional, knowledgable, and caring. Steve knows his stuff and is willing to listen and use his experience to help you individually create a plan along with exercises. Steve guided my every step of the way with my recovery. I was referred to The Abilitylab physical therapy area to work on my rotator cups and lower back. Over 14 sessions, Tiffany the PT was professional, accessible and very helpful. She asked good questions and offered new exercises to replace older ones. Also the physical environment is modern, and uplifting. Overall, I am very happy with the level fo service that The AbilityLab offered and am grateful for the progress I made.

Physical Therapist Malcolm A. White, PT, DPT accurately dissected through my list of recurring symptoms after breaking my right wrist 19 months. He is an amazing young man! Astute, intelligent, caring and above all extremely attuned to the body. Thank you Shirley Ryan for hiring him. I cannot say enough good things about him. Keep up the great work!
